Canon TX-20 Complete Auto Tonometer easily measures Intraocular Pressure (IOP) allowing doctors to carry out simple eye exams efficiently while enhancing patient comfort with a soft atmosphere puff. The innovative, intelligent 3D fully automated operation makes operating the tool extremely simple: simply press the button. The TX-20 will align and measure extremely quickly, even the print-out and newspaper cut off are performed mechanically, reducing examination period. This evaluation is important in evaluating ocular conditions which affect the pressure inside of an eye, such as Glaucoma. Canon’s Full Automated lineup of Measurement Equipment comprises over just a Tonometer.
Utilizing soft atmosphere puffs, the TX-20 Tonometer readily measures Intraocular Pressure (IOP), which allows doctors to carry out simple eye exams efficiently while improving patient comfort. This evaluation is important in evaluating ocular conditions that impact the pressure inside an eye, such as glaucoma. If a high IOP is detected, a warning message is displayed. The operator can enter any threshold value on the unit’s settings screen to activate the grid for that value. With a single press of the start button, the device automatically aligns and measures that the intraocular pressure of the eyes.
Deliver a productive path to assessing ocular conditions that impact the pressure inside of the eye, such as Glaucoma, with a non-contact tonometer. The TX-20 Tonometer uses a delicate atmosphere puff to enhance patient comfort.
Since individual positioning is a priority, even once the Security Alert is put, the TX-20 Tonometer automatically prevents the optical head from making physical contact with the patient. When a reading cannot be made, the TX-20 Tonometer display will show a snapshot of the examinee’s eye along with the measurement error. The operator will know immediately whether it was an eyelid, eyelash or the eye being out of position that caused the error. The operator will then be informed on the next action to take such as adjusting the chin rest or limiter.
HIGH INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE (IOP) WARNING
Whenever high IOP is detected, a warning message is displayed. The operator can enter any threshold value on the unit’s settings screen to activate the warning system for that value.
COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT
The TX-20 Tonometer is designed with comfort in mind — for both the operator and the patient. It comfortably fits on an instrument table with a Canon Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera (each sold separately) to help streamline the exam process. And, at approximately 33 pounds, the TX-20 Tonometer is easy to transport and install.
